How do I deposit Margin FOREX funds in New Zealand?


Please note that, whichever deposit method you choose, the originator of the funds must match the name of your LatitudeFX Client Account.

Direct deposit from ASB account (EFT) (NZ)

This is our preferred method as it's generally the most economical,  fast and reliable - for you and for us.

Depending on the services provided by your bank, you may be able to arrange direct deposits to our account online, by fax or in-branch.

Time

For transfers from ASB accounts the transfer is normally  executed immediately.

Fees

There is no charge at our end for receiving funds by direct transfer.

Please check with your bank to be sure of any costs.

Any restrictions?

No. Funds transferred by this means will be available for trading or withdrawal as soon as they are credited to your account.

Transfers from other institutions normally happen overnight. We suggest that you check with your own bank as to how fast their transfers are.

There is no charge at our end for receiving funds by direct transfer.

At your end, many banks offer this service free of charge. However, please check with your bank to be sure of any costs.

Credit & Debit Card (NZ)

Normally the transfer will be executed immediately.

Fees

Your card transaction may be treated as a purchase, not a cash advance. If you're unsure of the applicable charges please check with your card issuer.

For card top-ups we will deduct the appropriate CC fees from your account.

Any restrictions?

You can deposit up to $5000 NZD via Visa or MasterCard to open your account and then up to $5000 per 45 day period to top up your account.

The $5,000 limit is imposed as part of our internal risk management guidelines and Credit Card Policy.

Funds deposited by credit card cannot be withdrawn for 45 days. 

Instructions

Call LatitudeFX on 0800 TRADING (0800 8723464). A Client Service Representative will take your credit card details over the phone and confirm the transaction by email.



Cash (NZ)

You can deposit cash to our account at any ASB branch

Please note you must include your client number with your deposit

Fees

For cash deposits to the LatitudeFX Segregated Funds Account our bank may charge a 'cash handling fee'. In general, LatitudeFX will cover this cost. However we reserve the right to pass on this fee to clients that make regular cash deposits to their account.

Any restrictions?

We're unable to accept cash at our offices.

For cash amounts of $10,000 we require you complete a declaration.

We are obliged to report to the authorities any suspicious behaviour by an individual or company, which we could construe as money laundering.

Instructions

Please include your client number on the deposit slip. Failure to do this may cause a delay in your trading account being credited.

Cheques (NZ)

Certified bank cheques and personal cheques are both acceptable.

Time

Cheques will normally clear within 3 business days from the day we receive them.

Fees

There are no fees payable at our end but you should check with your own bank regarding applicable charges.

Once your cheque has cleared there are no restrictions.
